1. 协议；协定；协约
An agreement is a formal decision about future action which is made by two or more countries, groups, or people.

e.g. It looks as though a compromise agreement has now been reached...
看起来好像现已达成一个妥协协定。
e.g. The two countries signed an agreement to jointly launch satellites.
两国曾签订了联合发射人造卫星的协议。

2. 达成协议
Agreement on something is a joint decision that a particular course of action should be taken.

e.g. The two men had not reached agreement on any issues...
两人还未就任何议题达成协议。
e.g. But instead of ending in agreement, the talks broke up in acrimony at the end of the week.
但是到这个周末，谈判非但没有达成协议反而在唇枪舌剑中不欢而散。

3. 意见一致；看法相同
Agreement with someone means having the same opinion as they have.

e.g. The judge kept nodding in agreement...
法官不停地点头表示同意。
e.g. There was general agreement that every effort should be made to prevent the war from spreading.
人们一致认为应该竭尽全力阻止战事扩大。

4. 赞成；赞同
Agreement to a course of action means allowing it to happen or giving it your approval.

e.g. The clinic doctor will then write to your GP to get his agreement.

5. (叙述、数据的)一致，相符
If there is agreement between two accounts of an event or two sets of figures, they are the same or are consistent with each other.

e.g. Many other surveys have produced results essentially in agreement with these figures.

6. （与搭配名词或代词在数或性上的）一致，呼应
In grammar, agreement refers to the way that a word has a form appropriate to the number or gender of the noun or pronoun it relates to.

When you make a decision, you choose what should be done or which is the best of various possible actions.

e.g. A decision was taken to discipline Marshall...

e.g. The president said he'd made no firm decision on whether he would run for a second term in office...
总统说他还没有下定决心是否竞选连任。

2. 作决定;作抉择
Decision is the act of deciding something or the need to decide something.

e.g. The moment of decision cannot be delayed...
作出决定的时刻由不得耽搁。
e.g. This was a matter for decision by the individual.
这件事需要个人自己决定。

3. 果断;决断（力）
Decision is the ability to decide quickly and definitely what to do.

e.g. He is very much a man of decision and action.
他是一个遇事非常果断、行动极为迅速的人。

1. 表达;表述
When you express an idea or feeling, or express yourself, you show what you think or feel.

e.g. He expressed grave concern at American attitudes...
他对美国的态度表示严重关切。
e.g. Sumner would greet us with frowns and grimaces, doing his best to express wordless disapproval...
萨姆纳会冲我们皱眉，做苦脸，竭力表示他无言的反对。

2. （观点、感情等）体现，不言自明
If an idea or feeling expresses itself in some way, it can be clearly seen in someone's actions or in its effects on a situation.

e.g. The anxiety of the separation often expresses itself as anger towards the child for getting lost.
离散带来的焦虑常常体现为对走失的孩子发火。

3. （用符号等）表示，表达
In mathematics, if you express a quantity or mathematical problem in a particular way, you write it using particular symbols, figures, or equations.

e.g. We can express that equation like that...
我们可以这样表示那个等式。
e.g. It is expressed as a percentage.

An express command or order is one that is clearly and deliberately stated.

e.g. The ship was sunk on express orders from the Prime Minister.

1. 打断(某人)
If you interrupt someone who is speaking, you say or do something that causes them to stop.

e.g. Turkin tapped him on the shoulder. 'Sorry to interrupt, Colonel.'...

e.g. He tried to speak, but she interrupted him.

1. 不同意;有分歧;意见不合
If you disagree with someone or disagree with what they say, you do not accept that what they say is true or correct. You can also say that two people disagree .

e.g. You must continue to see them no matter how much you may disagree with them...
无论你和他们之间有多大的分歧，你都得继续去看他们。
e.g. They can communicate even when they strongly disagree...
即便在有很大分歧时，他们也还是能够交流。

2. 不赞成;反对
If you disagree with a particular action or proposal, you disapprove of it and believe that it is wrong.

e.g. I respect the president but I disagree with his decision...
我尊敬总统，但我反对他的这个决定。
e.g. I disagree with drug laws in general.
总的来说，我反对药品法。

3. (尤指食物)对…不适宜，使…身体不适，不合…胃口
If a particular food or drink disagrees with you, it makes you feel unwell.

e.g. Orange juice seems to disagree with some babies.
橙汁似乎不适合某些婴儿饮用。
