Hello. Miss Taylor. I'm Adam Porter. I am Amy Taylor. Thanks so much for coming in. Coming into my office. It's my pleasure, Mr. Porter. Thanks so much for meeting with me. You can call me Amy. Amy, how are you doing this morning? How is everything? I'm doing well, thank you. And you. I'm good. Please have a seat. Let's start the interview. Please tell me something about yourself. I studied at Columbia University and graduated in 2019 with a degree in business. How to say the year in English? 1800. 1900. 1901. 1909. 1910. 1997. 1999. 2000. 2001. 2009. 2010. 2019. 2020. 2021. I've been working at Bank of America for two years as a sales assistant. Sales position titles: Sales assistant, Sales associate, Sales representative, Junior sales manager, Sales consultant, Assistant sales manager, Sales manager, Senior sales manager, Sales director. Why are you leaving your current job? My current company is very large and it is difficult to do different tasks. We have routine work that never changes. I am looking for a company where I can contribute more and grow. Why are you interested in our company? I can see that your company has much future growth potential. I also heard your company has a good reward system. I want to work for a company with opportunities and take more responsibility for my job. How would you describe yourself? I am a hard worker and a team player. A quick learner. A self-starter. A good listener. I like being with people and helping people. How would your best friend describe you? My best friend would say that I am friendly and responsible, creative, detail oriented, reliable, sociable, and optimistic.
Great. Amy, tell me what is your greatest strength? My greatest strength is a combination of motivation and persistence. I enjoy my work and I don't give up easily. What is your biggest weakness? My biggest weakness is public speaking. When I present to a large audience, I have some stage fright. So I took some public speaking courses online. It makes me feel less anxious than before. How are your computer skills? Pretty good. I am proficient in Microsoft Office. I have a lot of experience in word processing, using Excel to manage data, and using PowerPoint to make presentations. How fast can you type? I can type about 70 words a minute. Can you work well under pressure? Of course, I work more efficiently under pressure. Actually, I enjoy working under pressure.
Where do you picture yourself in five years? I will be working hard and gaining experience. Five years from now, I want to be a sales manager, lead a sales team, and create more revenue for the company. My goal is to become a sales manager in five years. There are good chances of promotion if you try your best. Give it your all. What does success mean to you? Success to me means to achieve a goal I have set for myself. Do you have any questions about our company or the position? Yes. What training will be provided if I get the job? If you are offered the job, you will attend a two-week training course about communication skills. Any other questions? No. I can't think of any others at this time. Okay. Thank you again for coming today. Thank you for your time. We will inform you of the result by phone later. Sounds great. I look forward to seeing you again soon. Have a good day.
