While I was playing, I suddenly felt my shoe getting loose. I looked down and my shoe lace was untied. I couldn't let it keep flapping around, or I might trip. So I needed to fix it before something happened. I remembered that my mom had taught me a method for tying shoes when I was younger. After a few tries, I finally managed to tie my shoe lace correctly. At first, it was a little tricky, and I made some mistakes. However, I kept practicing the method until it worked perfectly. Even though I had a little trouble, I felt proud that I could solve the problem by myself.
It was really awesome to see that I could handle such a situation independently. Learning to tie my shoe lace not only helped me in that moment but also gave me confidence for the future. It's a small skill, but mastering it made me feel accomplished and capable.
That’s all for the listening content of the beginner English reading practice collected by qicai editor Xiao Wu. We hope you gain some benefits after listening!
